The College Football Answer

This blog is a simple proposal on restructuring NCAA Division I college football to increase the league's fairness and consistency through a clear structure, as well as promoting fan enjoyment of the game. The proposal will be broken down into the following sections:

1. Overview
2. New Conferences and Divisions
3. Season Schedule Structure
4. Playoff Structure

Based on feedback, this proposal will change, and the relative merits of the various ideas I hear presented will be discussed.

Enjoy!

I love this idea. Very well thought out and the best plan that I have seen to strive for a consistent and fair crowning of college football's national champion.

The only problem is that mighty Pete Carroll and his USC Trojans have never lost in November and are always hitting their peak at the end of the year.

As a result, the USC Trojans would clean up the national title year after year, and make college football as predictable as a SEC non-conference schedule.

Hopefully, we can figure out some way to change the college football landscape and get a playoff system everyone can agree on in the near future.

Thank you for your input!
